The Trikke Pon-e 48v 2WD is the realization of a 15-year dream of mine to own an electric Trikke so I could commute while “skiing” on the pavement – including *uphill*! I’m now commuting 8 miles to work (16 mile round trip) at speeds of 20-25mph – all with a skiing motion (slalom style) to add my own force to the electric motors as I carve and glide down the pavement on streets and bike trails. It’s a brilliantly designed and engineered machine that makes me smile, while providing super-versatile personal transportation for commuting, recreation, and exercise! Comes 98% pre-assembled – just unfold, engage the locks, and attached the handlebars with the Allen wrench provided in the included Trikke toolkit. “Ski the pavement on an electric Trikke!”

The excitement started when I received the delivery! You open the box, everything is pre-assembled, so with just a few minor steps you’re ready to go. My first ride was just cruising around and I enjoyed every minute of it! I took my Trikke Pon-E to the beach first using the riverbed trails near my home. It’s so incredibly easy to maneuver that you could literally take the Trikke anywhere! I loved how you don’t need any experience or skill to use the Trikke right out of the box! The cambering motion is effortless and ergonomic. Steering feels intuitive. I’ve taken my Trikke to run errands, pick up groceries, go out for a bite to eat, and just for fun!

Anyone on the fence for purchasing the Pon-e 2WD don’t hesitate! This company takes care of your order with diligence and care. They are very helpful with any questions and keep you informed of the process until delivery.

I’ve put about 150 miles on my Trikke in the past couple weeks and it has been pure excitement to ride. The delivery came on time and was well packaged. The quality of the Trikke brand is first class. You can tell that they don’t cut corners on the build. If you think you won’t get exercise because it’s electric, think again. If you want a workout, set the speed lower and carve it out. The higher speed will help keep your momentum going or you can go for a joyride. After a couple of days I found the cruise control setting so you can give your thumb a break on long rides. I have found the range to be around 20+ miles on a charge. Your weight and whether you have the headlight on will dictate the range. I enjoy dusk rides so I am using the headlight which has three power levels. The headlight is very bright for ridding in the dark. On an average I’m burning 900-1000 calories on an hour ride. Beats working out in a gym or jogging! 20-25mph on a Trikke is white knuckle fun!

I’ve been stopped by many people who want to see what it is or where to get one. (Teens especially) Will definitely be purchasing a second 2WD for the household.

Haven’t been able to use the trikke yet. Battery was delayed shipping at your facilities. No one knows why. Going out of town. Can’t use till we get back. Several weeks after ordering.
